Niki is a graduate of Harvard Law School (Class of 2002) and began his legal career in Washington, D.C., working as a litigation associate for a private law firm. He later joined the United States Department of Justice, where he served as a Senior Trial Attorney and sued state and local government agencies for engaging in employment discrimination.
In November 2006, he co-founded Mount Vernon Foursquare Fellowship (MVFF) with his wife and left the practice of law for full-time ministry the following year. In addition to serving as MVFF’s Senior Pastor, he is the Legal Advocacy and Policy Director for the Northern Virginia Human Trafficking Initiative.
Niki has helped license 9 new pastors; start 7 new church plants in the D.C. area; strengthen churches and train leaders in Ethiopia; prepare and support a missionary serving orphans in Haiti; coach two leaders to develop a sports-based youth ministry began in D.C.; lead nationwide leadership development conferences for emerging and existing lay leaders; and co-lead a nationwide cohort and training program for approximately 100 pastors under age 40.
